The sun is still shining here in Jordan as we work with Syrian refugee children who come for their weekly musical activities.
This week, the boys enjoyed taking turns to play on the xylophone. This activity encourages group participation, whilst at the same time giving each child the opportunity to experiment and express themselves in a non-threatening way. It is fascinating to watch as the children gain confidence and then start to work together in groups to sing songs together. This is surely the aim of Harmony of Hope, to bring the much need healing to the lives of these young children.
Thank you for the much needed support and the provision of more instruments to facilitate the music therapy sessions.
