New Year’s Resolutions bring a mixture of regret and positivism and here in the Middle East the refugee children in the community choir have decided to dedicate more time to learning songs in the choir. They have also dedicated themselves to performing in a concert in March so look out for the video. Dani, 15, is the accompanist and he comes from Iraq. He doesn’t go to school and spends hours every day practising the piano in order to be a help to others, accompany the choir, and to achieve in the only way he can at the moment. Watch the video of him playing the piano. He started learning with Harmony of Hope in November 2016. That means he has received around 10 lessons maximum!
